Video: "Panasonic Do-Re-Mi"
🕑 Added 2025-01-11 14:08:09 +0000 UTCI recently got my hands on a pretty neat vintage item: the Panasonic Do-Re-Mi. It’s essentially a little analog synth / organ with a built in record player. Panasonic also sold a version with a built-in tape deck, and another even rarer unit that just contained the synth portion on its own. All three versions were released in 1977, along with the Panapic multimedia system.

I LOVE this, David. Takes me back to the days of being a kid. I just recently purchased the Casio MT-100, which was my first keyboard as a kid. Near Mint condition, and I'll prob make a sample library with it. This vid also sparks an idea of exploring AM radio again - that was a fascinating side of the dial back in the day.

playing with the record changing speeds was so much like The Residents. Loved that
