I've been experimenting with the cafe from get together.. it's always annoyed me how little things you can order so i'm making my own :)
It's still early days but i've made a few fast food meals. I've included my hot drinks from my drinks machine as I think the espresso machines have really cute animations. (now your townies will be able to drink them anonymously as well as order the foods!)
I made this to go along with my drinks machine to help improve those cafes and other public spaces :)

Good news the majority of this is rescuable, I just need to recreate the interaction steps to actually order the foods as those files were blank and corrupted. Just as well I tend to separate everything :o

This is a BRILLIANT idea! The cafes have so few choices. Not that I don't mind a little bakery sweet with my sims coffee, but having a fast food like meal? When you want a burger you want a burger! Also your hot drinks? (or, some of them?) Man, this will make food and drink options so much more interesting and make my living vicariously through my sims so much more appetizing. Thank you for showing us this tease. Take your time, but know you have a will audience for this kind of new sims food!
