It's just your recipes. I'm a software engineer learning modding so I dug into your package like I dig into your desserts and discovered the problem. The staging phase in your recipe is specifying `phaseMulti_Food-OvenBasic_OffTheGrid` as its factory (for some reason incorrectly labeled as `phaseMulti_Food-OvenBasic`). When I added an override package changing it to the proper decimal ID for `phaseMulti_Food-OvenBasic` (15604 instead of 270727), the chef station worked like any other oven. I'm guessing that since the Off-the-Grid lot challenge can't be applied to restaurant lots, the game is excluding Dine Out's cooking appliances from being selected when that MultiStagePhase is referenced. Ma'am, you're a prolific progenitor of palatable and piquant pastries. Unless I'm missing something, excluding things like ingredients, you have almost 270 recipes packages. That's a lot of sitting around in Sims 4 Studio just to deal with this edge case. If you'd trust a rando on the Internet with such a thing, I'll happily whip up a little custom app of my own to go through all of your packages, examine each Recipe Tuning with XPath queries specifically targeting this issue, make the change if necessary, and pack up all the packages I changed in a ZIP archive for you to fetch at your convenience.

Is it just my recipes this is happening with or ea/other custom recipes? I haven't used the chef station outside of the general restaurant play so I'm unsure on how they would work with it. I can take a look but I'm not sure what steps to take to stop that from happening at the moment.

It seems like A LOT of your recipes are having him do that, come to think of it...

Strange problem: whenever I tried to make this recipe with the "I Dream of Sous" Chef Station in a San Myshuno apartment with the Simple Living lot challenge active (not sure what's relevant here), my Sim would put it in the oven and then give me the failed routing animation, like I told him to go somewhere he couldn't. BUT... if I placed another oven in his apartment, he would still put it the dessert in progress in the chef station (I guess because it was closest?), but then walk to the other oven to stare at it as the interaction progressed, then walk back to the chef station and remove present the completed cake. Pretty hilarious. But maybe you've got some tagging issue or something in your steps?

This is so pretty!

The colors are so pretty

this is so beautiful. that pastel green color makes me feel so nostalgic for y2k. I know pink and blue are THE y2k colors but, everyone forgets how pastels were super popular too.
