Glad you’re enjoying the videos! I’ve read the shock doctrine by Naomi Klein a couple of years ago and it really stuck with me. Most notably was her coverage of Chile in the 70s under the CIA supported Pinochet dictatorship and the economic shocks in post-invasion Iraq. It’s something that I want to cover as we get into the neoliberal era. I still want to make a video detailing the ideologies of neoliberalism and neoconservatism. I hear these words used a lot (including by myself) and I think it could be interesting to do a deep dive on the origins of both ideologies, the similarities and differences and how they are manifested today.

Regarding your video series it would definitely be amazing to do macro level series like you did once about the Military Industrial Complex. You can even widen your scope beyond the CIA and explore how Elites influence The US government structures, something akin to Aaron Goods "American Exception" book. Also, have you ever thought on doing a series about the Soviet-US relations? perhaps how the CIA played it's part in the collapse of the Soviet Union and how Shock Therapy came about in the new Russia. This topics are such a rabbit hole and it would be amazing for someone with your research skills to examine this.

I recently watched Rodriquez on the Danny jones show and thought it worthy to share that his limited hangout on the jfka was that he now believed it was a conspiracy, but said he believed Fabian escalante took the jfk headshot. Claims he was a renown sniper. He does an equally unconvincing job trying to sidestep questions about Kiki camarena. This was actually a very deep find. I had found a typed up copy of a memo from Arthur Schlesinger to Richard Goodwin at the JFK White House, on an unofficial website for veterans of Brigade 2506. I talk about this in the Operation 40 video: I wasn’t able to find the actual memo. Well, a fellow Patreon subscriber who has helped me with some more arcane research was able to track down the original memo, through a request to the archive that had the physical copy of it. I shared a screenshot memo on my X account (linked below). The memo mentions a CIA agent named “Felix” as the main CIA man in charge of operation 40. I assume that’s Felix Rodriguez. Great stuff as always. Could I ask what your sourcing for Felix Rodriguez being the head of op 40? Apologies if I missed it. I ask b/c I’ve been looking into him a bit, and noticed he was born in ‘41, which would have made him a teenager when op 40 started under Nixon. I know he was a shooter, but didn’t know he lead that part. I’m really interested in his involvement with the s-force Danny Sheehan mentions, that were the team that practiced the triangulation crossfire on murchison’s ranch in Mexico. I’d love to hear more about that, maybe that’s on tap with your next episodes on jm/wave. Sorry for the long winded ramble, I love and look forward to all you put out!
