JMWAVE - THE CIA'S MIAMI STATION
🕑 Added 2025-03-13 01:36:02 +0000 UTCToday I follow Ted Shackley's move to South Florida in 1962 as the JMWAVE station chief. Ted took over the Cuba show and got his first real paramilitary experience. Miami and South Florida were ground zero for the CIA's cultivation of real paramilitary capabilities. I take a close look at the men who worked at JMWAVE, many of whom would follow Shackley to South East Asia in the mid-60s. Finally I take a closer look at the Kennedy Administration's often tense relationship with the CIA, especially on the Cuba file.

Emotional video. Thank you so much. All the Cuba-show was a one-headed beast, the CIA, against the Kennedys. Not only the CIA divided the exile ad infinitum so that Mongoose would never succeed, as I said in Twitter, but also we can go fairly so far as saying that the cuban Missile Crisis, the climax of the Cuba-show, the world on the brink of a nuclear armageddon, was orchestrated ( by the team CIA-Castro-soviets) to sabotage Kennedy´s Op. Mongoose. It was scaled back after the Crisis, although there was never a non-aggression pact from J.F. Kennedy. This point was an invention of the CIA to safeguard its cuban revolution: to sow hopelessness in the exile.
