[TUTORIAL] Maximize realism in BLENDER VFX!
🕑 Added 2022-11-11 23:09:53 +0000 UTCI see too many people on youtube pretending to have a nice result in vfx in blender by just activating a shadow catcher.
I mean, that's a good starting point, but we can do additional tricks to get way better results using some little tricks!
There are thousands of things that can help reaching a good level of realism in Blender, but in this video I sum up my favourite techniques that I always use when doing visual effects in Blender.
Example file with dragon downloadable in the level 2,3,4 of the patreon https://www.patreon.com/posts/original-tricks-74497227
Disclaimer: dont consider the ugly movement of the dragon, when I speak about realism I mean in the lights and interaction between cgi and the footage!

I’m a busy dad with three young boys. I’m teaching myself Blender and After Effects. I want to make some really cool videos with them using various VFX techniques and can’t wait to get into all that you have on this Patreon! Hands down the best investment I’ve made yet. Thank you 🙏🏼
