Interactive Particles using particlesGpu - tutorial
🕑 Added 2023-08-06 12:19:32 +0000 UTCIn this TouchDesigner tutorial we take a look how we can use webcam and Kinect as a particle source in particlesGpu from the palette for some funky interactivity, and learn some things about particlesGpu along the way. These techniques can be used with any video or pointcloud input! We also incorporate simple motion tracking and audio reactivity. Let me know if you'd like to see more particlesGpu tutorials from me!

Which MBP? This runs very well on my M1 Air. Try reducing the number of particles in particlesGpu.

Hey Kombo, glad to hear the tutorial helped! I'm not sure about your problem with perform window, usually you should be able to drag any TOP/COMP onto the monitor icon on the toolbar, and that will link it with the default /perform window COMP

A very useful tutorial, it's helped me wrap my head around ParticlesGPU. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble getting the performance window working. I'll try the tools wiki coz I think it's to do with how I installed the FunctionStore tools.
