It's a slow start, but yeah, it picks up. It's one of those shows where you think "Eh, I dunno if this is for me", then you blink and you're five seasons in, haha.

Feel like you would really enjoy the show though. The first 7 seasons (2001-2008) directed by Mike Clattenberg are all really good. The seasons after are when netflix rebooted the show in like 2013/14 or something. Also the first episode aired even before the UK office

Love TPB. It definitely gets better after the first season. However, in my opinion, Letterkenny is the superior Canadian comedy.

This show gets better and better as the seasons go on. The first season is really just character set up, and season 2 is when things ramp up for sure

The accent is a 'Scotian accent'. Nova Scotia, just a little northeast of New York, or east of Toronto on the Atlantic Coast. Not super strong compared to like Toronto or Vancouver or something, but it's there. It is most noticeable when words like "Bar" "Car" "Star" are said. Lol, I don't even notice it. But I'm aware it exists. I have to focus on it to hear it.
I remember at some point enjoying this less, but at least the first like, 5/6 seasons were great - I feel like it's kind of almost a cousin-show to IASIP in a weird way. Reckon I'd have a lot of fun watching your reactions to it!

Lol I like how Cyrus just robbed the store moments ago, and then robs Ricky for what he robbed from the store, when Cyrus could have just taken more stuff. Complete power-play. Lol I'm born in 1988. I was like 13 years old when I first saw this episode. Hard to believe it's been 20 years since then.
