okay this might be annoyingly complicated but if you tempered a bit of chocolate (just melt it, then bring it to 27-30°C, im european so just... google the farenheits) you could coat the chips in that and they will mantain their cronch

as someone who is studying to become a pastry chef and who was recently overworked and exploited at an internship i'd say you have the perfect idea of how we interns get treated in this industry but you at least aren't sexist and transphobic so... i'd measure the ingredients for you for free!

Solution to the chocolate chocolate chip chip fiasco: Break the chips into pieces and coat them in chocolate, then freeze immediately! Then they can be stirred into the ice cream after it's churned! Chocolate chocolate chocolate chip chip

This is such a good idea! I already have a bunch of ideas. Gonna make a curry ice cream, and then I want to make a vanilla ice cream. But not like... vanilla icecream like you're thinking. Our society has made vanilla a default, which is a shame because it is its own flavour. But if vanilla is the default, what does a vanilla flavoured vanilla ice cream taste like. I don't know if this will work, it's possible it will be so bitter I'll die, but this is how society progresses. And then maybe a ginger green tea ice cream.
