The code has to be changed in order to account for that edge case

One the simulator it will fail because there is no apple watch data for the simulator to reference

Same here, it is using the mock data. In the chart tab I do see my actual step count.

You need to make sure you have data for the step count and apple watch to get the calorie data

Hi Jason, I was able to build and ran fine except it failed fetching todays step and calorie data. Already added Privacy - Health Share Usage Description, Health Records Usage Description, and Health Update Usage Description in the Info.plist file. Any idea?
