(not so) fun fact the myth of changelings most likely came from autistic children starting to show symptoms since they often present roughly around 4 years old, in fact elenas behaviour in this episode is very autistic coded. parents would notice that their child was different and would do anything to 'get their child back' including harming or ending them. this myth still persists today despite science knowing better </3 always love seeing miriam margolyes shes a treasure

This was a fun one for sure ! I also loved the way that Elena & her father were good people being used for ill, instead of being evil at heart. Her clumsiness & spitfire attitude were endearing & she was lovely. Her dad was a good man, wiser than Uther. The progression of Arthur's strength of will in standing up to Uther is so nice to see. Gwen 's honorable conversation with Arthur just makes me love her more. I question Morgana's motives in every episode now so anything caring is suspect to me. I also enjoy the lighthearted giggles with Gaius' predicament with the pixie. Merlin was such a good friend, very caring and supportive while continuing to show growth . I look forward to the next one!
