haha this is pretty accurate, it has in fact bitten me, even somewhat recently. 🤣 Although I would say my faith is more in season structure and episode tone than just plot armor, it weighs out to be the same thing.

this was one of those episodes that I didn't much care for when I first watch the series. I still don't, really. there are many things in it that make little sense but I guess the simplest explanation for them all is "when you are sick, you don't think straight". so I will forgive the foolishness of the usually rational Teal'c. ^^ I was about to, once again, comment on Daniel forgetting to wear his glasses but then I remembered who just became People's Sexiest Man Alive (Johnathan Bailey, well deserved imho) and his "slutty little glasses" and I had a chuckle thinking that Michael Shanks is well into Daniel's "slutty little lack of glasses" era. Before his next era begins - but that one is #spoilers ;)
