Hello Jake. Maybe a bit too late for you to prepare this question, if so it'll be for a next live maybe! We were discussing on the Discord server about the chord progression of Black Water by the Doobie Brothers: it doesn't seem to be diatonic, and we were struggling to interpret it: what would be it's actually key ("regular" major (ionian), or another "mode"?), which chords are borrowed, etc Basically how to analyse and understand the progression. Any idea? Thanks!

Not sure if you've seen it, but 12 note just posted a YouTube video in the last week where he talks about plagal cascade progressions. He said that he could find nothing on the web about it and so he produced an interesting introduction to the topic with well known examples, just at warp speed :(. However, I seem to remember you going into this topic as well a few months ago and was wondering if you could point me to it and give us a blurb about its usage or more if you like. I will try to attend live, but I'm west coast and its 4pm here, so I might still be working and have to watch later.
