Hello! I am just getting into your lessons on modes and I am still having some trouble with leads and changing modes. I have never been able to get a straight answer for this, when you use a chord from a different or parallel mode, should you switch to that mode with lead? Are we accommodating the different notes in that chord by shifting to a different mode with our lead? I've watched all of your videos on this, and I think I understand, but its all still a bit foggy. The Major/Minor with that (Mixolydian?) Solo I think kind of highlighted this, but it would be great if you could elaborate a bit more on when we would shift into a different mode and what is required if borrowing from parallel or relative modes. I think what I'm starting to understand, is it all boils down to is, we just need to think about whatever is being played and all of our lead notes should usually fit with what were playing, which is what modes help to do?

According to Wikipedia it's: "The song is in the key of B Dorian mode, performed in what AllMusic describes as a "brooding, sorrowfully conflicted" tone." Which sounds about right to me. :)

How would you analyze the chords to Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game'? For me the E Major at the end of the phrase sounds like home, so for me it's v - IV - I in E mixolydian. But most of the internet seems to disagree with that and just calls it i - VII - IV in B minor, mostly because the melody resolves to the B. In the end, of course it doesn't really matter and just play what sounds good and maybe either interpretation is valid. But I wonder what your view is.
