If you have any questions on this lesson, post them here in this thread. In the meantime, expect another post from me soon where I do some live composing and test out my internet connection :D

Hmmm... What if you listen to Dear Prudence by the Beatles? Does it sound like the same D chord 3x in a row to you? It is... but the bass descends chromatically as well so it's a good example of the same progression. it might just be the voicings I'm using too - try it out on your piano see how it feels. They are all inverted variations of the tonic chord though so I can understand how your ear will feel it all like the same chord (it's I - Imaj7 - I7 )

I have to be honest. The I chords with half step descents in all of the examples sound identical. For instance in your last example, I really didn't hear any difference between A - A/G# - A/G. They all just sounded like an A major played three times. :-(

Good catch!!! And yes, the videos you see on my Signals channel display things I've practiced for many hours before flipping the camera on :D

I found an error in the pdf. In the Chromatic Lament in Minor section you denote the 5 in A as A. Thought you'd like to know. On that note I must say I really like the looser, "not perfect" approach to these videos. It, almost, make you feel human😉 Keep it real! ✌️✌️
