WINTER UPDATE #2 - New Website
🕑 Added 2025-12-12 20:40:59 +0000 UTCAfter an unspeakable amount of work, I'm ready to roll out the new site for you all! If you have courses at the original site, they should transfer over easily. Just make sure you use the same email you use at the other site.
SEE SOMETHING - SAY SOMETHING
With this being a fresh rollout (and considering that I built it), there are bound to be problems. If you experience any issues, please read below in the comments to see if someone else has pointed it out already. If so, just upvote that comment. If not, please post your comment so I can get on fixing it.
NEW CODEX FEATURES
If you own the online codex, you should find a new helpful home page for this course featuring a search function, a chord index, and easy-to-find downloadable resources. If you highlight a passage in the codex, you can save it to your favorites to easily jump back later.
Each feature chord now allows you to click it to bring up more chord charts for guitar.
Footnotes are now properly displaying as pop-up windows instead of displaying at the bottom of the page.
NEW MEMBERS SECTION
If you're a patreon member, you'll have access to a special video section on the site. You can access it by visiting the Lessons tab (or visiting your account page). There, you'll find many of the Patreon Only lessons I've created.
This section will only grow over time. Early 2026 will be dedicated to building an online forum here for us to collaborate, share our music, and participate in group classes. Until then it will basically be a mirror for most of my patreon content. I don't have it all loaded up there yet, but it'll keep growing!.
Real Rhythm Guitar: Level 2
If you owned the original Rhythm course, you should now FINALLY be upgraded to the new online versions called Real Rhythm Guitar: Level 1 and 2. Level 1 currently has a book, but level 2's book and final PDF are not yet complete. However, I've still loaded the online course content up so you can view the videos and individual lesson images. The finalized RRG2 PDF will be complete in January.
GIFT IMMINENT!
Once some of you have signed up, and I've dealt with any suprising bugs or errors that I overlooked, I'll able to post a 50% off coupon for all digital courses. Then after that, I'll let the rest of the world know about the new site, and will start a holiday sale, but your 50% will be a better deal than whats displayed during the holiday sale.

Hi Jake - thanks for this! I'm having some issues with the migration. When I first logged into the new site it recognized me, had my courses listed and sent an email across, but when I clicked the emailed link I got an error message. When I try to sign in now it recognizes my email address but my password doesn't work. Clicking the "forgot password" button sends a rest email but when I click that I get an "invalid" link notice. Thanks for your help!

In portrait orientation on a tablet the header runs together overlapping some of the buttons with the signal music studio “home” button.

I noticed this problem yesterday morning but thought I fixed it up - on my end the navigation works fine right now. Can you maybe try clearing your web cache and seeing if that fixes it? If not, can you tell me what browser/device you're accessing the course on?

When clicking the sub-headers of a chapter I'm not scrolled to the correct header on the page. Not sure if it happens in general or just for me.

Hey Lewis, not a problem - just sign up for a new account on signalsmusic.studio and use the same email you used at the old site. Then let me know once you've done that and I'll manually add you to the new Members Only section.

Hey Tommy thanks for letting me know - I'll try to get your account updated shortly. Riffing with Modes is now a "Series" and not a "course", I demoted it since it had no PDFs or charts 😅

I have 7 courses available on the old site but only the Real Rhythm Guitar courses on the new. The free Riffing with Modes doesn't seem to be available at all. ✌️✌️

Hey Jim - the Codex book is a different purchase than the online course so that's why it didn't appear. I found your account tho and added it in as a gift - if you check your account page it should show up!

Jake, I just signed up and said "transfer my courses". There is nothing there. I did purchase the codex book, so maybe that isn't expected to show up as a course. But if you think it should show up, it didn't in my case.
