DF V4.1-DEV-B15 Alt Links access!
🕑 Added 2022-09-09 08:53:51 +0000 UTCThis is an odd one, because there's only a small amount of bug fixes. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut... the first release of PEP is now included! Notes as follows.
V4.1.0-DEV-B15
- Added POI Expansion Pack! (PEP)
- Fixed Bob's trader protection.
- Removed Razor's, Eve's and Anna's trader protection because I forgot about that.
- Removed the trader tier rewards as they weren't intended for DF anyways.
- Redid Rad Resistance display again.
- Scarecrow isn't worth a ton to sell to traders anymore.
- Bowls can be filled from hydrants now.
- Tweaked animal spawns for Forest/Desert/Snow so there's more dangerous ones at night and less during the day (wasteland still sucks).
- Fixed incorrect range on scrap machete.
- Breaking and Entering should no longer apply to salvage items like the wrench.
- Made new Restore Power quests specifically for the scout to fix the errors with quest rewards.
- Missing text on scout quests should now be working.
IMPORTANT NOTES.
The POI Expansion Pack is our alternative to Compo Pack. It is based off Compo Pack from A19, where the buildings weren't as laggy and zombie amounts were more reasonable. It also includes A16 to A19 buildings that were removed from the game, and have been converted to basic A20 standards for size and zombie amounts. Total POI amounts is approx 380.
Consider this a first release. Further tweaking will happen later. PEP is in a seperate folder so you can delete it and just run vanilla + DF POI's if you so wish. POI amounts may be expanded upon later. I know a few folks have asked about contributing to it, but we need to finish compiling tier lists and POI type lists first, so we know what is needed.
The "trader protection" tweaks will require a new save in order for them to take effect, because TFP decided to make that a thing in A20. If you don't care, you don't need a new save. If you do care, you WILL need a new save.

It works like skyrim so you should get a wiggle when you're close to unlocking it
Gotta say I am not a fan of the new lockpicking mechanic. No hints in the journal so I just fart around until my picks break. Am I missing something?
if it should be helpful, the error always comes up when he's finished generating the cities and wants to start with the wilderness POI's.

The radiation resist value went back to normal when I logged in. There is a female survivor model (beanie hat) who keeps spamming her line of "Going to make you my b**ch" and laughing sound emote every second if you are in her vicinity. Her chatter is tuned up a bit too high.
That's a new one. I haven't had that. I shall experiment
I make no guarantee it's fixed, but hopefully this should help :) May need further testing/experimentation
I don't want to be annoying here, but maybe someone can help me? I just wanted to generate a new map with the DEV B15 with PEP, but there is always an error message "attempted divide by zero" maybe i'm too stupid for that

I logged in to tell you that I was still getting the creeping rad resistance amount (got up to 300% in my new game) and you beat me too it with a patch! Thanks for the hard work! =)
