🕑 Added 2023-02-18 18:39:01 +0000 UTCSo Ive finally started on the fliers for this month. I will be finishing the codex this month with the last 2 units!!! What??? We will be deciding next month what we will be making after the Silver Wardens are done.... but dont worry! I will be periodically adding a SW character to the Welcome Pack even after we move on. I'll be carrying on with the 1KHijos as well so stick around for all that demony goodness!
Pictured is the start of the new Death Claw flier (talon), with the existing Accipiter (hawk) for size reference. Ravenor (raven) is in the works.
One question that came to mind is... what are the rules for height?? Like what height are these fliers supposed to sit and what constitutes "too high" ?? Is "too high" considered "modelling for advantage??"
I didnt think to find this out before I made the first one. If anyone knows, please let me know here or on Discord. If I need to make a shorter base I will make it backwards compatible with the Accipiter.
I want to have them delivered to you all by Thursday night. But worst case, as I am going into surgery on Friday morning, I may have to deliver on the 27th or 28th.

well the thunderhawk isnt actually in the codex, plus theres already a really good one available... somewhere. So I have decided not to make a thunderhawk in the near future

Pretty awesome you're going to have the whole codex done! But what about the Thunderhawk transport ship? (Not to be confused with the Stormhawk gunship.)

Just looking forward to 1kHijos Terminators with that big effing Minicannon thingy... other than that Custodes or Deathwatch would be pretty cool... or just to really shake things up, NoiseMarines (Chaos) with your take on vehicles / bikes / flyers just to see what ya could do with em
