Got to meet Michael Fugoso at an Adobe event a few months ago. Guy is genuinely an extremely talented illustrator. I agree his personality is a lot, but I don't think we can call him just a personality hire considering the skills I've seen him demonstrate :-0

I eye rolled so much during this. They genuinely just do not care about their core user base at all. Also, I use InDesign (my most used) and XD (I do website design and development sometimes). XD has a feature that I would LOVE in InDesign. Where you can set padding around a group and then duplicate the group and it retains that set padding. It would be incredible when I am laying out a 50 page document for a client.
