Hey everyone!
Here's part of the next major update for House Chores - Beta 0.2.9!
IMPORTANT: Out of respect for all the $5+ Patrons and the team that works so hard on House Chores, please refrain from sharing this build/link with others.
Windows (Unpacked*) [Sleep crash has been fixed]
*If your antivirus software is freaking out, playing the unpacked version should fix that! Same game but the extra files aren't boxed away.

This update doesn't add terribly much to the NSFW side of things but it does lay down more important groundwork for the day to day gameplay.
I've added a new relationship system that is still in the works. In short, cleaning & spending time with Julie will eventually unlock new events somewhere around the house.
I'll be having some important discussion on the gameplay in the Discord so feel free to stop by!
In addition, if you missed the post last night, I'm going to start trying to do more frequent but smaller updates in House Chores. I don't reasonably have an entire month to sit down and focus on HC so I need to work on it more consistently in smaller pieces.
With that said, Beta 0.3 should release in one or two weeks! That update will add a brand new major scene as well as a nice overworld scene that is teased at the end of this update!

I tried packaging the game together and that seems to have triggered antivirus issues for some people. If you can trust that I'm not putting malicious software onto your PC, there should be a way to disable your antivirus temporarily. Tomorrow, I will upload a version of the game that is unpacked which should fix the issue directly. My apologies!

Update: About 1 minute later, my virus protection pops up saying it found virus "Real Protect-EC!13F00F89C4DB"

I can't even get the game to boot. I loaded it once, got about 20 seconds into the opening credits, the game crashed and now it will not open.

ive downloaded it 3 times my antivirus deletes it saying its a virus every time whats going on with it.

i think i found a small bug, If you wash the dishes in the "MORNING", and talk to Linda about the dishes durring the "DAY", the blue chat window stays open blank, until the next time you initiate another chat. Maybe its only Me =P
