i totally get you! i wasn’t so sure about hello mellow at first, but i found myself singing it days and days later and now i can’t stop 😭 honestly the rest of the mini album hits a lot harder for me— dreamcatcher is my favorite! especially because you love jaehee’s vocals.. i have a feeling you’ll be gagged!!!!

Really surprised you reacted to the MV!! I thought you'd only do the Thank you, PD! I grew up listening to Japanese songs so I really liked Hello Mellow from the getgo but I get it might be a preference thing. Japanese songs really tend to like having that cheerful sound with sad or bittersweet lyrics (take YOASOBI's Yoru ni Kakeru or Mrs. GREEN APPLE's Ao to Natsu as example). It's a very common theme to have that emotion of appreciating fleeting things in their songs, which is basically this song LOL

I am glad I am not alone, when it comes to this opinion on this comeback… Frankly, despite me hyping Wish to you a lot, some times I would say you are into their music more than me 😅😅 And so I was curious for your feedback to this… To be honest… I do not know how to feel. They are meant to be THE JAPANESE unit and yet they Japanese discography is kind of “so-so”. Their Japanese full length album did not really have a proper title track per se, since it was ballad-like Christmas song and now they finally have their Japanese comeback with first Japanese mini album and it just does not land on me. There is an MV to Dream Catcher (pre-release), the MV is nice, but I would say it is worth reacting to if you like the song based on your listening party.
