It's humorous to me especially in the current social context with all of the feminism that tries so desperately to deny and undermine the transactional nature of sex. If you offer a woman money to sleep with you, she will react with moral outrage. I understand that. I get it. It is not a pleasant thing to ask. But in reality, everybody has their price.
I remember years ago watching The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and he was interviewing judge Andrew Napolitano. He brought up the example of offering a woman 100 million dollars for sex of course she says yes. That's a lot of money. What if you then offer her $1 for sex. She acts outraged and asks what kind of a woman do you think I am? He replies, well we have already established what kind of a woman you are, now we are just negotiating on price.
Even outside of the professions of prostitution, stripping and sugar babies, most people understand that on some level sex can be transactional. It's not pleasant to think about because it goes against our cherished ideas of civilized behaviour but even when you look inside intimate relationships you will find examples. Women will sleep with their partners to specifically put him in a good mood because they're going to ask for a favour later on. Obviously this is not black and white prostitution but where exactly the line gets drawn can be a little bit grey. It's very interesting to think about.
So this woman just admits it openly. She gives blowjobs as a way of encouraging her man to do chores around the house, like the dishes. The biggest distinction between this kind of transactional sex and out-and-out prostitution is that this woman probably loves her man and gives him blowjobs anyway she does it because she simply likes seeing him happy. She already give him blowjobs so it is not a big deal to give him a few more
I understand where she is coming from. From her perspective she may be able to get him to do an hour of chores in exchange for 10 minutes of a blowjob. That's just good maths right there.
I admit I am making fun of this a little bit but that's because I find this humorous. It's funny to me that she made this post at all. What exactly was she looking for? Perhaps validation that other women do this as well. Perhaps she's bragging about how smart she is to have figured this out. Maybe she thinks this is a life hack.
In any case I don't really have a problem with this. Sex can be beautiful and sacred, no doubt. However it can also just be fun. I do feel like sometimes we take sex too seriously and attached too much importance to it. As long as the couple is healthy and generally respectful of each other I think that the arrangement that she has worked out can be a fun and flirtatious way I've just improving their practical lives.
So for any women out there that are reading this, it might be worth a try if your partner does something that you want to encourage like a whole bunch of chores, maybe give him a blowjob that night. Stop halfway through and tell him how much you appreciate him doing all the chores. Thank him and then get back to your task.
The same goes for guys. If your girlfriend gives you a blowjob then perhaps the next day you should do the dishes or vacuum the house. Just remember to pause halfway through your tasks and thank her for the blowjob that she gave you yesterday evening.
Don't take me too seriously here, I mostly having fun but as far as I can tell, if everybody does this, our lives will improve. And what happens when he does something in the house and says, where’s my BJ and she isn’t it in the mood? Or, she gives him a BJ and he doesn’t do chores? Will she then start using the threat of withholding? Does she “love” BJs because she sees them as an excellent manipulation tool, loves the attention she gets from him when she does it, or because the act itself and pleasing her man turns her on and makes her feel good? If the later, she’s playing with her own desire as much as his and it may have unintended negative consequences. Not enough info really, but yeah, the fact that she posted that message at all makes me wonder whether her strategy will or has shown some downsides.

I don’t agree the first thing op wrote was She loves giving head. Hardly seems it’s dull and toxic... He could be a bit of a lazy bitch but he could be working 60hr weeks for all we know.

I saw this girl’s post a while ago and thought it was just sad. She’s obviously asking for validation because she knows in herself that it’s fundamentally not okay. What kind of man needs constant sexual favours as incentive to pull his own weight? Do you think she enjoys giving him head to appease his laziness? Does she see him as an independent, masculine man, or a man-child when she has to blow him so he’ll take responsibility? I can definitely see how it can be lighthearted and not a big deal, if it’s an occasional thing. That’s cute and funny. But it’s obviously not that, and she wouldn’t be asking for advice if it wasn’t a dull and toxic routine.
