I love your new space, for the record we would listen to you from wherever you decide to talk to us.
It reminds me of Inara's shuttle from Firefly!

Looks pretty neat. It looks like the entry to a fortune teller's place - or one of those types of folk.
Margaret
It looks like you moved your desk to the middle of a bazaar. lol
Klean Kanteen & Kombucha 👍🏻
Looks like a great new place you've got! What a view! Hope the new room gives you lots of inspiration for the content!
My first thought... how vibrant yet cozy ♥️. My second thought..... laundry day is gonna suck 😆😜. Seriously though, enjoy the new space.

Totally! Once it was finished I felt like I was a Bedouin
Alexander Grace
That is an interesting suggestion! I will keep that in mind for the future, thanks Kyle!
Alexander Grace
That's the dream :)
Dude, the new digs look Moroccan! You need to burn some incense :))

As a former film guy, I think you should turn your setup around 180. I would invest in a soft lighting setup for the front of your face and then make the outdoors your background. Much more appealing visual. You could get solid lights for less than $100 and as long as you have an extension cord, you can probably get away with just using one or two lights. Obviously it’s your setup so do you what you want. Just thought I would throw my two cents in there. You could have a toilet full of shit in the background, and I would still watch for the substance of the video.
That's a cool workspace man. Love it. Next step in my opinion is a treehouse in one of those trees around you lol.

Thanks Blair :)

Clever decorating bud!

I do too! I'm feeling nostalgic for my childhood - building forts and such :)

I thought about it but occasionally I do videos with text/images or quotes form a study/graphs etc. I didn't want anything too busy that might distract from the content of the video. Def comfy!
Alexander Grace
Exactly! :D
The setup of your filming studio looks comfy, I’m not gonna lie. Although there’s not much in your background. You could get a few blankets that have a sort of design/pattern to them. Or you could get a big and completely green blanket that you can use as a green screen.

I love it, reminds me of making a fort with sheets as a kid, gives you the cosy, nostalgic feeling. Hygge vibes! xxx
Alexander Grace
The birds definitely do distract me but in a good way ;)
Alexander Grace
Thanks Jennifer! I remember the video with the seagulls hah. It was beautiful! Took ages to film unfortunately - wind is deadly to good sound quality
Alexander Grace
I do! The view outside helps :)
OMG I love it!!!!

You don't get claustrophobia do you Alex? ;oP
Jennifer Coopman
It looks very cozy! And that view, omg! I'm so happy for you that you get to see that when you work everyday! Some of my favorite videos were the ones whe you were on nature walks. In a couple older ones I could even hear the water and seagulls. I loved that!
I vote for filming outside too

Cool place! Congratularions, brother. Btw that view is amazing! I wish I could see that behind my desk. The only risk is that you may get distracted often because of the cool view behind
not really feelin it :\ i would just film on ur porch outside. if u want to do it inside i would hang a large black sheet instead. even better would b to put a bookcase spanning the entire FOV.
