Nobody’s happiness depends on another person. The foundation comes from within. So no man can “make” a woman happy. No woman can “make” a guy happy. They can enhance what already is there. And they can help build it to higher levels together.
I feel you. Feeling misunderstood must feel daunting. How has this shaped you as a person and how did you manage to compensate?
I am 64 and autistic, all my life I was rejected both socially and professionally, this is not a choice, but EUGENICS. Life is a struggle for survival and reproduction. I read the Bible at seven, and found a god in it that was worse than Satan. I told my father about it and that was the end of any discussion of religion with him! This was strange as he was a J.W.! So being lonely I had to learn to live without touch, company, and affirmation for most of my life. It can be done, but at a price.
