Hey Ben and Benites, I've been getting familiar with the circle of fifths & fourths, and was wondering about delving into the relative scales while soloing within the song's key. I'm a little confused though. Let's say the tune in question is a basic A D E, and the scale I'm mainly using is the Am blues scale (or is it just the A blues scale?), whould/should I go into it's "relative major" (C major)? This video suggests, instead that, perhaps, since the song's key is A, I should use *its* relative minor, F# minor? I guess the question is, how do I know *which* relative key to use for a song's solo section?
