Great exercise, hands are tired after 30 minutes. I definitely found my ceiling. 45bpm is fairly clean, 55bpm is hitting the notes, but not more than 2-3 rounds. The part I'm stuck with is it feels like I'm still picking the notes, even though I'm "mowing" downward and upward. When I hit 65bpm it wants to be a true sweep and I just come apart for me. Any advice?
Pretty Awesome, I'm 50 and have been playing guitar and bass since 1995.. never dared to try sweep or economy picking, I struggled with 35bpm as this is my first sweep lesson !, and today now I'm at 45bpm clean and smooth! thank you so much uncle (or would that be nephew) Ben? You gave me a boost of confidence.
