Duuuuude Superunknown. Day I Tried To Live is such a sick tune....

Maybe my favorite band. That fast repeating part in the solo is killing me! Can't get it remotely fast enough. Any tips for working on something like that specifically?

I got question for the folks here "or maybe Ben if he sees it" but on the fast pull-off lick at 32:39 of the video how is everyone muting the B string on that? Everyone I see playing it has what looks like their index finger barred on the b and b string but for me to do it cleanly Im lifting my index finger off, otherwisethe strings clash.

Do you listen to Necrot? They have some odd timing in most if not all of their songs. The bridge on "Cut the Chord" blows my mind.

Guess I've been playing this wrong for years.. Video idea: Benefits/ things to consider when wrapping strings around the bridge of a Les Paul

Awesome. Are there tabs for this?

Turns out I've been playing the verse riff right this whole time! Fun fact about Angry Chair (and Hate to Feel), Layne is actually the one who wrote the main riffs for it. He wasn't confident they were good for the band, but Jerry encouraged him to show it to the band. As for Soundgarden, obviously the song to do is Limo Wreck. Its got everything, weird tuning, crazy time signature and lots of fun parts! It's also a tune written by Matt Cameron and Kim Thayil together.

check out this video from JP Henry talking about how Producer Dave Jerdan help Jerry get those tones. Dirt was 6 guitar tracks! 3 left and 3 right and then using the three amps like you said. same technique on Anthrax's sound of white noise apparently.
