Love it Ben! Just getting to this series. Less clickin, More pickin. This is like Grateful Dead meets Primus! I like seeing you take chances not knowing if it will work and then playing it out. Very inspiring!

If possible can you call out the scale pattern or riff you are heading into? Or the key including M or m as you enter the scale pattern? I would love hear how your thoughts lead you. It all sounds amazing. Thanks for sharing the challenge.

3:38 -- awesome! More of that idea.

Really good. I'd love to see a wankshop about this. On how you come up with those licks, I mean do you try to create, or play patterns you you remember from another songs... That whole train of thought would be great to know.

Constructive criticism: It all sounds the same. Predictable noodling. For the record, I'm just getting back into playing after an 8 year sabbatical and, congratulations, I've chosen you as one of my tutors. I'm determined to avoid relearning my previous pentatonic jails. I'm thinking that focusing on the modes and how to incorporate those into my endeavors is the key to the scale break. See ya on the outside. Thanks for the lessons; They've been worth every cent.

I dig this idea although it would probably be hard to do that while in the zone...maybe a breakdown or playback with commentary afterwards.

Yesterday's was good but you sounded a lot more comfortable on this track, like it was more in your wheelhouse....not sure if it was the key, the tempo or the groove but your licks flowed...more smoothlier.😃

I'm enjoying the improv videos. Do you ever go back to the same jam track and try to incorporate some of your better moments and ideas from your first go round into your new "version" of the track? I do this at times and it can sometimes spark new creativity...oddly enough.

JAM

great playing, its fun using jam tracks for voicing different ideas and expressing what's on your mind..

Don Vape

Loved it when you were playing high and breaking it up. Nice breaks.

My big question regarding my improv.. is it my ideas that are bad, or is it my execution thats bad. I would personally like to hear you talk through what you are going through on something like this.
