That being said, that's for general commission. When we're talking projects or higher end commissions those are honestly purely based on interest. If I don't like the idea or think it's worth it I'm not going to invest all the time required to do a multi page comic. Also factors like time might mean I can't work on it right away due to another project or two I'm doing, or it might be slowly started as it's worked side by side another. Usually those are obtained less formally. Mostly people come to me with this big project idea, we talk and discuss, if it sticks then there ya go. But for the smaller stuff I'd prefer those to go to the commission forms so I can keep those organized a bit better.

It's kind of a hybrid. I don't have all the time in the world to work on everyone's commissions sadly. I also don't enjoy every commission I get to 100% (being realistic no artist can enjoy every idea given to them to work on x3 ). So I basically weight first come first serve heavily and when I can I'll decide which commissions to do first on preference. Like get the less fun ones done first or push them to the back. Once you're paid and on the actual cue though it's gonna get done within that cue. Order may vary but I don't keep my "currently working on" cue very large.

Say, on that note, how do you handle commissions? First come first serve, or another way?
