Crops in 0.9
🕑 Added 2017-09-26 08:32:45 +0000 UTC A huge focus of 0.9 is plants and crops, there's a big reason for that (well two big reasons, actually) but I'm keeping that mostly a secret until the time comes.Many more trees and flowers will be added this update, as well as a new type of plant called a crop, which is basically just a flower that grows food over time.
Another cool visual addition to this update is food visibly growing, as seen above. Food will grow on trees/crops, and break off and fall to the ground after a period of time. An upshot of this is that trees will now save their food production time, and not lose it on reload which was happening before.

In the early, early alpha days I remember I had a glitch when I loaded a garden where every tree on the map loaded at 0,0,0, the center of the map. The result was a FOUNTAIN of acorns lol. I'm imagining you're hoping for something like that xD
