The next few chapters are going to be Scott's backstory. Originally this story was just going to be Scott's backstory, but that Robin was like "hey! I got way more story to tell!" Robin having seen Scarlett before was something I wanted to do, but Scott's Heart Guardian form looks exactly like Scarlett, and I couldn't figure out how to explain why Robin didn't recognize Scarlett in that form. So to avoid the whole can of worms, I decided that Scarlett would be one of Cassie's friends that Robin for some reason never met in person.

Wondering if we ever get to see Scott... ...Just to check that box - not complaining, I very much prefer looking at Red or Scarlett :) Also, Scarlett's big reveal was bit comical (intentionally?) - probably bigger thing if you could not see magic. Cheap magic trick - thus obligatory 'Ta da!' :D ...I'd assume Robin might have seen Scarlett, as one of Cassie's girl friends...

Tbh I really love the approach where like, the other characters have a pretty casual approach to gender whereas Robin was just, "Well, I'm going to be a girl forever," after about four hours, and hates boymoding for work. It feels like a really honest way to include a trans girl in a comic rife with magical gender changes.
