I'd say she's not since I recall Simon stated he wouldn't heal her because it would force her to take a break. Well the author did say the gender change was an idea they had after doing the meeting/shadow man bit. But the obvious explanation to me is them telling her what happened, her believing them because they are both magical girls with a talking cat and Scarlett leraning to shift into Scott form but everyone from her life still knowing her as Scarlett. I don't recall us seeing any of her friends only Cassie's..

Have to wonder how much Cassie is faking her injuries... Maybe not much; injuries are public knowledge and Simon's healing would be difficult to explain to doctors. ...If in pain, that would be further reason to be here - have Simon do his magic for this weekend. Curious to know how Cassie learns about Scott... And Robin - Shadow man was still around in the present - yet something had happened that allowed Robin to know about Scott. Still, not in a hurry to know that - first we need Scarlett and Cassie do some bonding. Sexy bonding :)
