Liam's Journey 344-365
🕑 Added 2024-08-31 20:44:48 +0000 UTCEdit: Changed the final panel.
The comic transitions from narration to dialogue as Otto drinks the potion!
Originally, Isabel was going to say "too bad, here's a potion that takes away your magic and pointed ears too, have fun being a servant!"
But then I got a new idea that involves those two bonus images I've included at the end. Something along the lines of Otto pretending to be a young lady who 'made' her own potion to fly to Isabelle's castle to ask for some potion making lessons.

I really enjoy your work. Liam's journey is my favorite.

So yesterday I thought to myself that it would be a good idea to wait a day before posting the finished update, because I had only thought of the pixie idea just as I finished the final panels, meaning that I hadn't given myself the time to fully think through what might happen next. So giving myself some time to think things over in case any plot problems pop up would have been helpful, but then I gave into the temptation of posting it right away anyway. A few hours later i was walking my dogs when I thought of the same thing: that they didn't have a good explanation of where Otto went, and that maybe I should have waited with posting until I had an good answer for that. Since the excuse that Otto has transformed into a house cat for a bit only works for few days but not a month, my interim solution was to simply have Isabel brush off the question when asked, and the staff know better than to dig into mysteries like that. But maybe there isn't a good answer, maybe that problem just becomes part of the story. Maybe Isabel does say "oh, Otto spending a few days as a cat," only for them to panic because they hadn't planned this ahead and didn't account with how to explain why Otto just isn't missing for days, but for a few weeks!

Better have an explanation of where Otto went or their pixie potion training wont hold water.

Funnily, going by the meaning of the word, it's not incorrect either.

Small typo on page 18. Should be "wife" instead of "life" in the line: "...knowing that I let my life transform me into a woman"
