Extras - Being Fiona - Issue 1 Draft

Ever since I started drawing Being Fiona, I've been toying around with what a print copy of Being Fiona might look like. For the longest time, I figured that if I ever did make a print version, I'd layout each strip in a 2x2 square and then split the 6 & 8 panel comics over two pages.
But then last week as an experiment, I decided to try placing two strips in an 3x3 panel layout with one panel split in two or widened into a double panel.
And everything just fell into place with only a few minor hiccups.
So to take things further, I decided to take the first 61 strips of the comic and turn them into an "Issue 1" or "Volume 1" prototype! Once I clean up all the art, and redraw a few of the panels, I'll upload a PDF version of the prototype.

it is a great Idea to make this 3x3 Penals, i really love it and can't wait to read the whole "being fiona red" story this way. I think this would be a fantastic upgrade for a print copy to enjoy ur great work. I would buy it. But I also enjoy reading Fiona panel by panel on my computer screen, too. thank u so much for ur high level creative work on ur patroen site. Go on.

interesting, some work others seem too crowded in the 3x3 setup, too much happening on each page as it were. I will be honest I do not even look at the strips, and instead always read it panel by panel.

Nope, I'm going to continue with the horizontal and vertical strips, and then this version will follow later since it is two strips in one. It will also take me a bit of time to catch up to the latest strips.

Cant wait for the pdf. Also are you going to work this out for future pages instead of making 4 horizontal/vertical panels
