But on the other hand, I don't think Felix would want to do that, and Jess probably wouldn't be eager to trick Felix a second time.
So maybe Jess asks nicely?

A interesting plot twist would be Felix would extremely slowly tfing into fiona in the real world. Where he and his friends only started to get suspicious when he is at 10%-15% through and only get the confirmation when he is passed 35% tf'ed.

If you've read the spoilers, it wouldn't be a huge change in the plan, just some changes in dialogue I think. I'll let the idea simmer until I get to writing that part.

Alternatively: Simply have Fiona ask Sophie about the limitations of the program later down the line. This way you accomplish not railroading your current plans while also investigating this topic a ways down the line.

Re: having the next session be about testing the hack There’s part of me that feels like if I discovered something super stressful like that, that I would do the same thing and freak out initially but then avoid thinking about and wait to do anything about it until later.

So Felix was aware that he was in a world that was mostly like his real one but not quite (and he was Fiona). Would it be possible to be in a virtual world that you didn't know was different than your real one? Jess has Felix in what seems like his normal life but has him start failing all his exams and he can't understand why.
