Okay, I feel silly, the dialogue I was looking for is in the very next strip to be published! I just didn't see it because I hadn't exported that strip from my drawing app yet.

I thought I had a line where Jess talked about it in the comic, but it looks like I edited it out at some point. When Jess writes a test, she has to write it separately in the school's test centre (similar to students who suffer from anxiety and other issues), and she has to wear a device at the back of her neck that block's the NeuroLink's internet connection.

Even without going to the level of creepy, there are some less than honest uses of this - the one that jumps to my mind is college kids renting a test taker,that would be a lucrative business. What kind of safeguards are there to prevent this?

Well using this to get more subscribers is definitely a factor in this for Riley. And part of the deal is that Riley hosts this series on her channel, so the vast majority of new subscribers drawn in by this new content would go to Riley! Also, since Jess wouldn't want her summer job to know about the body-swap, if Jess does make any of her own streams, it might be to a new channel not attached to her own identity.

The Riley route is much more appealing. I see how she could gain from offering Felix an implant, her documentary series. However, given the friendly rivalry with Jess, is there some potential for "4D chess" in the offer, managing to get more subscribers in the process? (Or less subscribers for Jess, which is a bit more sinister.)
