That was Jess thinking it might be fun to visit Hawaii. She likes to travel, and with her Sense Streaming money, she was probably traveling multiple times a year. She also didn't take a moment to think everything through when she suggested it. Felix didn't want to choose Hawaii because he didn't want to deal with having to do what Jess was suggesting.
