Kay Vess is here — and she’s no background NPC. This is the hero asset of Star Wars Outlaws, and it shows. Over 100+ texture maps were required just to bring her visual fidelity up to par — from facial specular stacks and cloth AO masks to tiny trim normals across the outfit.
This Creator’s Edition release rebuilds her fully onto Genesis 8 Female, textured, sorted, and prepped for conversion or creative remixing. Whether you're flipping her to DAZ or starting a new cinematic render build, she’s ready to go.

Because of her body shape — specifically the outfit’s influence around the hips and back — I used a temporary mesh masking method to preserve clothing accuracy without distorting the G8F base. This keeps her DAZ-compatible and clothing-flexible moving forward.
(Just be sure to delete the mask before exporting — leaving it will break morphs.)

Hey! Great question — So just to clarify, Creator’s Edition (CE) files aren’t DAZ-ready out of the box. They’re mid-stage builds — reshaped Genesis bases with textured outfits and props, ideal for creators who want to rig, convert, or finish the workflow themselves. Think of them as clean starting points, not finished characters. As for a full guide — I’d love to eventually make one, but with everything on my plate (commissions, prepping releases, and a full-time job), putting together detailed workflow tutorials just isn’t in the cards right now. Maybe down the line! That said — if the CE file was made by Dw3D, you can bet the DAZ-ready version is coming soon. The CE just gives you a sneak peek (and early access) before the full build lands. 💜
