I think you are making a proper use of the sequential art medium by expressing something that can contribute to the narrative in a creative and fun way. So, I wouldn't mind if you kept using a few of them in every story you do from now on. ;)

with something like the "chibi feel's" there is a real danger of over use if an artist starts to lose focus or get lazy. your not even within sight of those kind of issues.

Sometimes, words just cannot describe what a person is feeling. The lil' chibis are perfect for those times. For everything else, there's MasterCard.
