I'm changing the title to 21+ instead of 18+ because I'm hearing the rumble of a patreon ban-avalanche in the distance. (My characters have always been adults anyway, so this just reinforces what I've been doing all along.)

Yeah, I agree. Its a better option (and safer) to just stick with characters that are already old enough.

Right but I’m only referencing the nominations, not the actual art...people just need to be careful how they reference them, don’t allude to the underage version being what you want.

As much as I'd like to see that, I do believe they went ahead and nominated Steve and Diana by name rather than just their aliases/codenames. Because it could've been a whole group thing if all those who've been Cap got their freak on.

As far as the superheroes are concerned, they'll get the same treatment as Raven and Beast Boy(or all the Titans), Harry and Hermione, Deku and Froppy, or the D&D cartoon cast. Our visitation upon them will be in the adult phase of their lives, not their time in high school or what have you. I too worry about the Deviantart level threat against content of characters normally seen as minors in canon. But Doc does draw those characters very much not in their canon.

Then maybe people should stop nominating underage characters...case in point miles and Gwen, they specifically said from spiderverse which means he is 14 and she is almost 16, but if they had said “from the comics” then he is in collage and she’s in her 20s
