I made the suggestion over on Discord that instead of retiring characters that those characters get a “trilogy” before the pairing in retired…not the characters themselves…just that paring. It’s spurred some conversations over there.

I wouldn't mind seeing them with other people. If they're just with each other all the time it'll get boring. Jack stays popular because he keeps adding to his harem. Have BB go with Starfire once in a while or Raven and Robin so that pairing gets some refreshing too.

I don't know AWR. Let's be honest, Beast Boy and Raven, along with other characters are just popular. And Jack saw a lot more comics than just a trio of them. However, I will admit there was something specific to that; Jack went after some variety! There might have been a lot of Jack but he had relations with more than just Arcee! That may be while it feels like Beast Boy and Rav are a constant.

To be honest…it would be nice if they are retired, otherwise I’m not sure if other superheroes will get a legit shot.

Why should that matter? Nothing is preventing a person from being on either platform. If the Doc wants people to migrate over there for any reason he should say so openly, not give secret benefits to people who happen to have gone for the less popular choice.

There are fewer voters on subscribestar so the Doc gave them an extra weight so that their voice would matter as well.

There's another WDH in the list. That's fine. At this point I would rathere there not be a splitting of the votes, though it looks like it didn't have much of a chance in first place.

Did the Batman/Catwoman pairing not count? Admittedly I had a nomination post that I deleted before seconding Bat/Cat, which may have disqualified it. I'm not sure how that works.
