The sword is a different take on a spear from a previous commish featuring Mara.

Ryu is a bouncer at a club and a gun for hire. Mara is a Fae from another world and also a gun for hire. He was hired to retrieve an item that she was hired to steal. Their last encounter ended in a draw and a lot of sexual tension.

I'm nearly certain that sword she has is a video game reference, but I can't quite remember it. Was thinking Zelda Fierce Deity Sword, but looked it up, and that's clearly wrong. Anyone else?
