Uncle Joey is exactly right. As someone who used to work for a rental car company for many years. That’s exactly the game they play with customers. Lying about availability of cars, up selling constantly for things they would give you for free, and never ever giving the best deal. They are trained to do it and pressured by management if they don’t. Absolutely horrible business model.
