Character Bio - Malcolm (Minor Spoilers)
🕑 Added 2020-11-18 23:19:16 +0000 UTCThat's right: after years of development, we've finally made an official human Malcolm sprite! His design has changed a bit since we first started drawing him, and we are still refining his look, but since he'll be stepping out from behind the camera for a special scene in this and other chapters, we wanted to create a proper sprite for him. Our writer whipped up some bio material, as well!
The next Beta Build is nearly done-- Watsup is just filling in the remaining sketch assets. In the meantime I'm inking and coloring previous sketches, LL is writing Jessie's Chapter 4, and Cheasy is preparing some special music for Marion's finale. It's all coming together! Thank you all so much for your continued support!

Thanks! We did our best to make him three dimensional and more than just a blank visual novel protagonist!

Hahaha, yeah, there's definitely a few scenes that could use updating! We'll do a big cleanup roundup once all the MacLeod girls' chapters are finished, to get it ready for release.

It looks great! It's funny but I don't think I realized that it didn't have its own sprites XD. Seeing his deer form there makes me hope it's not his only TF scene

I like Malcolm's design! He looks like someone you can sympathize with rather than the weird gremlins from other EroVNs. So I guess this means its time to go back and...adjust every appearance of Malcolm.

Haha, I'll try to stream more going forward-- I've been deep in the more tedious aspects of sprite choreography and accessory assets, but coming up soon I'll be back to the stuff that's fun to stream!

We're still deciding on how exactly we want him to look, so we may go back and edit earlier art closer to final release to bring everything into line!

While he'll stay behind the camera for most of the novel, there will be some meaningful scenes in the future where it will be important for him to come out and be visible ^^

Oh man! I can't wait. While Grace is still my Changeling girl I'm still excited to see your game progress regardless (you saved the best girl for last haha). I hope this means that we will be see more of you and wat streaming together again often in the coming days or so. It's always fun to chill and chat with you guy's and talk about the game. Maybe LL can join in the stream while she writes the story? Either way, I look forward to see what you guys have in store.
