With Rowan's transformed design previously selected, we're now looking to decide Rowan's human form. Wat has whipped up three pieces of concept art to choose from below:
Which design do you like best for Rowan's human form?
The war has taken a toll and aged Rowan beyond his years, despite being only a few years older than Malcolm. Rowan wears facial hair to help hide some of the scars.
Once we have your input, we'll know which design to start refining for the next story line of Changeling Tale! Be sure to cast your vote, and if you have any questions or feedback let us know in the comments or on Discord!

Making sure the design looks like the correct age will be important to us as we refine Rowan's look and color the sprite in-- we'll work on it!

Very true! Although for recognizability, we'll probably stick with one facial hair format, and just remove the injuries/eyepatch if we do flashbacks to the early war.

A seems likely, simply because of how much people know it from the fanarts. I think that design is good, but works best when Rowan is more settled and trying to clean himself up. Still a broken man, but trying to show himself as someone who can face tomorrow. C is otherwise what I think works for him otherwise. Because it shows a man who is lost to himself and what happened. I know it isn't likely to be picked, but I think C works as a flashback to at least before he comes to meet his lost army buddy. B fits best before the war. More so since that IS the army issue mo on display there, that was not just the style, but the REQUIRED style all men are expected to wear if they are part of that mans army defending King and country! Well...at least until the gas attack, that is.

Mustache is best. Rowan hiding his face as a man and then suddenly being without an option to hide it later as a girl is a neat concept for him to deal with.

There are parts about the middle design that I do like, such as the hat and shirt collar, but Option A is my favourite due to those glorious mutton chops.

Hands down, im going with A. Thanks to ComicTFs comics, its kinda hard to see him look any other way. That and its kinda close to their post tf design if at least hair wise. B looks a bit too much like Owen and C reminds me too much of like Malcolm but going full big boss mode
