New Machines incoming!
🕑 Added 2021-07-24 00:35:14 +0000 UTCI was expecting some new machines to arrive last week/this week but looks like they got stuck in customs.
I should have the new Elegoo Mars3, Elegoo Cleaning station and the Phrozen Sonic Mega X arriving next week!
I will more than likely be cranking out a number of videos on the machines over the next few weeks with unboxings/initial prints next week 🤞
Let me know what you all are interested in seeing or testing out with the new units.
I’m a Mac user so one of the challenges will be chitubox Pro (pc only currently) so will be using their newest 1.9 version that I’m updating to tonight.
Excited to see what kind of prints these new units can produce!

Comparison prints between Mars 2 and 3 would be fab to see what that extra 2K resolution means in real life. I've almost moved full time to Lychee but would be very interested to see what you make of Chitubox Pro. Seems a buggy mess right now from comments ive seen and not worth the money?

Awesome excited to see your review of the new printers I am excited about the Mars3 Ultra. I was able to get it early bird for 250. It was also noted in Chitubox a Saturn S is listed in the new version. I am curious what is new on that version. The Phrozen Sonic Mega X looks awesome, but I do not have space for that big of printer.

I would love to know if you could print a full size helmet on the Mega. Seems like may still need to split it which seems a shame with such a big build plate.

I will 110% be attempting to see if I can use Lychee with the new machines (even though I know it won’t work). I’m also going to be updating my Mars to chitubox 1.9 and the latest firmware to confirm that you can still use Lychee on older board machines.

Cool! Have you committed to lychee? I love the interface so much more than chitubox. The algorithms are also a lot better. Mac user also.
