Please help me design my big room
🕑 Added 2022-02-15 01:30:51 +0000 UTCOkay, reaching out to the brain trust here. I have this big room in my new studio (patreon video update coming tonigjt or tomorrow). And Iβm looking at installing garage rubber interlocking tiles. Inspiration photo in the mix along with my partially ripped up room.
Trying to figureout the tile layout. This room will be heavily used and will for sure be used for recording video projects. Not sure how often the floor will appear but I want it to be unique.
Andrew sink recommended a UJ so I tried a YouTube logo as well as my YouTube name. But not in love with anything so far.
If you have suggestions please let me know. The thicker black bar is a walkway area.
Haha having a blast with all of this and recording a lot of the progress.

I would avoid the Youtube logo, just because that may not always be your primary platform.

If you want it to be more generic maybe a shape of a 8bit printer head in the center depending on rack placement.

Do you know already where you wanna setup the racks with the printers? It might be cool to do a dark floor but then use the red to make rectangles around the pillars or where some of your tables would sit. Other thing to consider you could get your logo or YT logo down by creating a stencil and spray paining over a single (or small group of ) tile to give you more flexibility. Clear coat a few times and it should be pretty resilient.

Same here. Found those same hex lights that I might go with online. Also looking into other options. Will be a big year long project Iβm sure to get this all fully setup ππ€£

I like the one where it is black around the Uncle Jesse with the checkers just at the bottom. A close unner up is the behive looking room, but maybe with red instead of yellow.

Going to be messing around with this more tonigjt. I think Iβm going to take it into procreate and make a pixel art brush/board to make this a bit easier
