Elegoo 8K Resin & dialing in some settings
🕑 Added 2022-09-02 16:12:28 +0000 UTCWill be sharing the Saturn 2 profile along with a handful of other updates later this afternoon. Had some "fun" getting the 8K resin to print properly. I was apparently printing way too fast for it. This stuff is seriously soft and mushy when printed but not cured. But loooooving the results.
I think I need to print this magneto bust life size :)

So I have been doing my own test and just printed my exposure test. IT came out perfect! My layer height is .3 and my exposure time is 2.3. I left my bottom exposure time 35.00 I hope this helps! I'm printing out my brook now and I'll keep you guys up to date!

Still not able to find them. It was mentioned to go to Membership and reload and you will see some links to google docs files with some profiles. The profiles are all from 2021 with nothing new. Wander where he was going to add them? I does not look like these posts are monitored.

I have been trying to print miniatures on my Saturn 2 with the new 8k. They are doing strange things. I had to sand the plate and crank the bottom layer to get the minis to stick to the plate. When they print they are deformed. In some cases the hands are flat or ankles break. Hopefully new settings will help.
