Neptune 3 Plus & Max Prusa Slicer Profiles
🕑 Added 2023-02-22 21:31:15 +0000 UTCHeya folks, here is a direct link to the Neptune 3 Plus & Neptune 3 Max prusa slicer profiles I've setup and I'm using for a .6 Nozzle.
I'm in the process of still refining a .8 and 1mm nozzle setup for the Max! Should hopefully have that here later this week!

Also sharing how you can setup something similar in a new vidya up on the youtube but will keep refining these here.
Also... I think I'm finally moving on from Simplify3D after all of these years. My prints are now just as fast off prusa slicer with the new tree supports & its becoming easier to work with.
Hope everyone is doing well. Will be posting a studio update later this weekend as well as I'm trying to setup some new recording spaces

Hello i tried to download the profile for Elegoo Neptune 3 plus 0,6 mm nozzle ... but when i tried to print with it the supports are like crazy hard to remove ... is there some fix for it ?
Vincent Chov
What would you say are the important settings to change for 0.6mm nozzle and PETG? I see that a lot of the settings differ from when I tried to import the Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus profile (0.4mm nozzle) that PrusaSlicer already offers along with "Generic PETG".

I see these haven't been updated in a long time, I just joined so I could download these and I noticed the 3 plus profile is .6 as well and not .4 diameter

Just upgraded my N3 max nozzle to .6mm and using the profile but seem to be having a lot of oozing issues. Alsoit looks like there's lots of holes or the print hasn't finished layering properly. Can provide photos. Any suggestions?

0.6 profile for the N3 Max works a treat, finally let me print with my wood filament Wondering if the other nozzle sizes are going to be added to the list at some point?
Stormz
Thanks dude ! gonna try that ;) have the max also !
Jonathan Renfro
Thank you, Uncle Jessy, for all your hard work!
Jonathan Renfro
Import Config: import a single profile.
Jonathan Renfro
Navigate to >File >Import. There are three possible options for importing custom profiles. in the slicer
Jonathan Renfro
i figured it out

Hi Uncle Jessy! I’m defined using them!! Getting my max tomorrow. I loaded the model and sliced the Red Rood you printed in your demo on 100% (yes my head is big) you mentioned you got 35 hrs of print . My model with organic supports take at least 47 hrs… any suggestions??
Justin Gholson
Definitely joined looking for a 1mm profile but all good. Thanks for the work ! Currently have a pretty basic 1mm profile but it’s not printing anything complex
Justin Gholson
Doesn’t look like there was any movement on this
Zachary Johnson
does this work for cura?
Joey bourg
what about cura
Bob
Any luck getting the rest of the nozzle profiles done for the Neptune Max
Jordan Gardiner
any chance we can get the 0.8 N3MAX profiles?
Riley Bittle
Do you have a source for Neptune 2 profiles?
Scott Spalding
I go to file -> file import -> import config and get the following error "ConfigBase::set_deserialize() failed" This is when trying to import the "Elegoo N3Max .6 Nozzle UJ" file. Has anyone been able to import this successfully?
Sean
Im not sure why I can't seem to figure this out. Can I get some help please?!
Chuck
newbie 3D printer user this might be a crazy question but when i imported Elegoo N3Max .6 Nozzle UJ.ini into Prusaslicer, all of the speed settings and Extrusion width settings are set to zero
Viktor Brejcha
Do you plan to upload profiles for 0,8 Nozzle please? I think you mentioned it in video. Thank you
Tanknstein
Am I missing the N3Pro files? Does it use the same as the Neptune 3?
Lando
Awesomeness and thanks! I just got the Max and am putting on the .6 on it.
Florida Bill
Yes, I'd love a profile for the Neptune 3 Max with a 0.4 nozzle as well. Also, is there a profile for the Neptune X anywhere?
PinkYeliel
It's possible N3 Max prusa slicer profile for a 0.4 nozzle? I need It. Thanks
Kyle
No I haven't :( My prints are okay quality but I've started looking for different settings to see if anything helps.
Musa Ali
Have you solved the stringing problem yet? My elegoo neptune 3 plus has a lot of stringing with these imported settings. I am using a .6mm nozzle
Brandon Henry
Still no Pro profiles?
Michael Tharme
I downloaded the prusa slicer a few weeks ago, but not had the opportunity to look through it, need to change that soon and check out your settings

What are the best nozzles to use with the Neptune 3 plus? I want to switch to .06
TC
I'm not seeing the profile for the Neptune 3 Pro either, nor profiles for the 0.4 nozzels.
KeenEyePrints
same issue, tried alot of things so far
Paul Sears
Are ther other Slicer/Printer profiles posted somewhere
DF
Ok.......even if you are still using a .4 take a look at his profiles. I looked at the settings because I was having issues with a print lifting in certain areas and thought it was due to retraction. Noticed his retraction was even faster then mine and that he had wipe function turned off. Made similar changes and now it's not lifting at all.
Austin Morrison
Was the files for the Neptune 3 pro ever uploaded ?
Austin Morrison
Was this ever uplaoded?
Uncle Jessy
Thanks! I should have mentioned that
Uncle Jessy
You could pretty much do the exact same and just change the .6 to .4 I will be seeing how I can further fine tune the speed settings
Uncle Jessy
haha I've been told the max should be back in stock soon....ish haha
James DiFrancesco
So I was wondering what are you adjusting on prusa when it comes to Stringing
Epic
I honestly have not had a single quality print with these profiles + .6mm nozzle on the N3Max. I have just been doing benchmark prints so far. The default prusa slicer 2.6 N3Max profiles for the .4mm nozzle were doing great. It should be noted I am using PETG.
Zachary Sverdrup
Has anyone who made the switch to the .6 nozel and used the profile found and issue with their layer lines being more pronounced? I have used a .6 nozel before with this same stl and the layer lines are alot more pronounced and there is a visible bump out on the entire model where the support interface is. This is on the N3 Plus.
Zachary Sverdrup
I think its in the Gcode where it tells you the speed settings. i was curious toand when i poked around it looked like that was where the speed settings were set.
Scott Borlick
Any chance to push that profile for the Pro? I want to set mine up with a .6 to print wood filament.
Epic
I imported this to prusa and now all the speed settings are set to 0mm/s, what does that mean?
2 Krazy Ketos
which one is the plus? Also, I just got my Neptune 3plus using your link. Still have a .4 nozzle, do you have a profile for that? Do you have a video on how to import a profile to Prusa slicer?

I set up the Neptune 3 Plus on Monday and installed the prusaslicer yesterday, I ordered some .6mm nozzles that will be in on Sunday, but I could use the settings for the .4mm. Also how do I import the .ini file into the slicer?
Nick Passamonti
Haven't made the switch to a .6 nozzle yet is there a guide on what to change in the profile for a .4 setup?
Roberto Montano
This is great now I just need to printer to come back in stock.

Thanks a lot Uncle Jessy

John Mayo
