I hate multi color printing π€¬
🕑 Added 2022-12-14 13:20:00 +0000 UTCWorking on my Bambu Lab X1 + AMS review and just ran into these two lovely issues on a 2 day print.
Decided Iβd go big with one of the prints and it
1. Put a random line across 2 layers of the entire print π€¦ββοΈ
2. The nozzle / AMS clogged with 2 hour or so left on the print. AMS was blinking red but no warning, pause, error message etc
Ordering more filament to attempt this again.
Love the X1 but the multi color printing has been & continues to be a pain point for me
PS - that texture on the print is on purpose & part of the file texture π

How many print heads are you ordering for your xl? I was one of the first preorders and was thinking about 2

Hey so I did some calculations between all three of the new Neptune 3's and came out with a Dimension for the Neptune 3 Max of 636 x 604 x 776mm (25.04" x 23.8" x 30.6"

I have the 3 Pro and it prints so good I want the big brothers now.

Fingers crossed early Jan will have one on hand to show off. Still waiting on shipping deals / release details

Excited for my XL preorder as well! Will be amazing for helmets

Will you be getting the Neptune 3 Max when it comes out?

It would be interesting to dig into the G-code first and see if those rogue layers were from the slicer or the printer itself rather than risk wasting more filament and time.

The struggle is real! My holiday rush on my Etsy store is finally subsiding.

The machine itself knocks out some amazing quality / quick prints. Will be doing some more mmu prints this weekend. Gotta crank out some Etsy orders π€£

Good to know. My X1C just shipped today. I donβt do helmets or any prints over 12 hours, so hopefully I wonβt end as frustrated as you. But being an MMU user, I feel your pain.
